Creepier then I expected it to be and caused a real sense of dread more than once, especially in the basement. The environment felt very well crafted and the voice performances were excellent (mom and dad felt too real.) I did suffer from a few performance issues, but had so much goodwill towards the game I did not care. Excited for the full drop of this game just to see where the story goes. Ummm a horror game that let's you draw on the walls?? That was insanely fun. This game was well-executed. Playing from the perspective of a little kid was a fresh take on the survival horror genre. I'm super excited to play the full thing/more chapters. PS: the kitchen has 75 total cabinets and my parents arguing was almost TOO accurate... Great voice acting.
The Art style is great, of course it reminds you of Among the Sleep, so the Story has to shine through more than in most Horrorgames, but it gives lots of options to play with the perception and the perspective of a child.
You are one of the devs that has a great grasp on HFPS and what you can do with it. The Cutscenes are great, the blinking effect, the scares. Idk how well to scare meter can be of use in the game, or if it can get annoying but i liked almost everything.
Maybe disable the splatter effect from the Enemy, it reminds you too much of the Backrooms Enemy.
My first mascott horror and it went from 0-100 real quick and I'm looking forward to the full release. I really liked the sound atmosphere and the scares were a mix of subtle and jump scares which I liked
this game triggered me a littled bit but, over all it was a great game as I thought out the events that took Place as i wonder the house trying to understand the lore
Wonderful horror experience, great graphics for an indie game and I personally loved this story. Cannot wait for more! 10/10. I hope you enjoy my video aswell!
