I loved scanner sombre, and I love the idea of exploring an environment like this, solving puzzles and uncovering the story. But when you add in the "unfightable horror stalking and killing you" mechanic I lose all interest. Please consider adding a peaceful/story mode to broaden your audience.
I haven't played the game yet but I also have played and do remember Scanner Sombre. IMO Scanner Sombre is slow paced, but there were entities that would kill you if you walked out of bounds, and you could actually "see" them with the scanner watching you as you approached the no-go zone.
Amazing! Congratulations on being a solo dev and creating such a tight horror experience. I'll be buying the game on Steam after playing the first free chapter.
I did a no commentary playthrough of it, hope the game becomes a hit! :)
