Rotten Flesh now have ACHIEVMENTS!




This is an immersive horror game where you have to find your dog by shouting for "ROY" on your microphone.
Microphone input is totally optionally and can be turned off which will switch to voice-acting instead for calling, but microphone input is highly recommended for the full experience.

Hope you are all doing well, and today I spent a whole Sunday working on Rotten Flesh to try and do something I never achieved in any of my games - Achievements (literally)  


Firstly I wish to thank you so much for your support and for playing the game. I really appreciate each comment, feedback and criticism for the game - as this really helps a solo dev out! Keep them coming.

One of the biggest things this update have to offer is steam achievements! I have been working on it the whole day to try and make them work, and hopefully at last they are. I was getting a couple of messages from you awesome people to add them, so I wanted to try and do it. For now there will be basic ones but will be adding more alongside the road if want! Let me know.

[*]     Added Steam Achievements after years of failing and that could not get them to work (Yay!)

[*]     Rats can now no longer attack you through lockers, however they can still attack you when you are hiding under the tables since they can get to you through there.

[*]     Fixed some performance issues related to making the game lag on TAB press.

[*]     Added and remapped the pistol icon and the error which was displaying a different gun sometimes.

[*]     Fixed some more issues with walls that you can walk through in the game.

[*]     Fixed a couple of more unaligned textures.
[*]     Fixed the monster not spawning after save for some reason.

[*]     Fixed some more flickering textures in the map.

[*]     Added some new decals and props around the map to fill it up more.

[*]     Increased lantern's light source for better viability.

[*]     Decreased some jumpscare sounds that were too LOUD.

[*]     Fixed some controller issues where after death you can't use the controller.

[*]     Fixed the issue where the player can fall out of the map randomly.
[*]     Updated some sounds and effects.

[*]     The enemy's hearing range have been decreased from 150 to 85 in terms of radius range.

[*]     All changes are updated for the two modes.

As always I wish to remind you that there is also "NO JUMPSCARE MODE" which removed the LOUD sudden jumpscares in the game only, but leaves the other important and scripted ones. That means the NO JUMPSCARE MODE DO NOT effect the game in general, and you will still get mostly the full experience - just without the loud jumpscares that appear randomly sometimes.
